For runners of all abilities looking to improve their running technique
  • Date: Sunday 9th March 2025

  • Time: 9.30am – 4.15pm. One day running technique workshop

  • Location: The workshop takes place at Loughborough University. The meeting point is: Loughborough University Stadium, Holywell Park, Loughborough

  • Ability Level: For runners of ALL abilities who want to learn how to improve their running technique

  • Coaching Team: Delivered by the New Levels Coaching team

  • The Workshop: Our running technique workshop is designed to help runners improve their running technique and build strength to reduce their risk of injury. If you’re looking to improve your running technique, run faster or get stronger then this day is for you. You will get to train in World class facilities, accompanied by expert coaches who will observe and provide feedback during every session.

Train in World class facilities including the high performance centre & Paula Radcliffe athletics track

Workshop Schedule

  • Arrivals: Please arrive at 9.30am. We will begin the day with a welcome & introduction to the day

  • 10am – It’s time to work on your technique. In the morning we will spend time going through running drills & we will challenge postural positions with our hurdle walkovers

  • 12.30pm – A nutritious lunch to make sure you are refuelled before we head into the afternoons activities.

  • 1.30pm – A transition of the running drills into running and looking more at your running form. This session will be at the high performance centre and athletics track

  • 4pm – The day finishes with your chance to ask the New Levels Coaching team any questions you may have, so that you have all the answers you need before departing

Parking Options: Parking will be available on campus and we will send further details prior to the event on where is best to park

Do I have to be a certain standard?

No we cater for runners of all abilities, whether this is your first ever marathon or whether your a seasoned marathon runner

Do I have to be part of New Levels Coaching

No you do not have to be a member of New Levels Coaching

I regularly come to the NLC Track Nights, can I come to this too?

Yes you absolutely can join us

What age do you have to be to attend?

16+ years of age, but if you have any specific age related questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us

What is your cancellation policy?

We would still encourage you to attend, so you can learn from all the educational content during the day and we will always look at how we can adapt sessions, so that you feel involved.
